This is an extension from my other Japanese entertainment blog (http://welshjapanotaku.wordpress.com). It’ll be dedicated to all the Asian movies that I’ve watched (Korean, Japanese, Thai and Hong Kong). I might even thrown in a French movie or two into the pot here as well. I get to watch a lot of movies these days so once I get going there should be a lot of movies being reviewed here. I’ll also post some movie trailers which interest me.

This blog is amazing. The format with movie poster, summary, and video is great. I hope you keep posting. It can be hard to find new and good asian movies when all reviews and movie summaries are not english. I run a Japanese horror inspire tshirt company. So keep the movie reviews coming and I’ll keep following your blog, possibly even post about you on my own blog.
Thanks again!
-Joey
Thanks Joey for your comment, I appreciate it. I hope I’ll get some more reviews up before the weekend…….if I can pry my eyes away from watching more movies that is!!!
Do you include certain anime movies in here at all? Even if you don’t do anime here as a rule, it almost feels like some movies (like Hayao Miyazaki movies) might be a good addition.
I think you’ll find that I’ve reviewed several anime movies here such as Evangelion, 5 Centimeters Per Second and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. I plan on reviewing more anime movies in the future so stay tuned!
Sorry, I haven’t got to view everything yet. 😉 Plus, am familiar with quite a bit of anime, but definitely not nearly everything, so while I might recognize some of the titles you listed as such (Evangelion, if I had noticed it… and in fact, I thought you meant the Mushishi anime when I first saw that as well o.O ) others I would not realize were anime until I read the article…and there’s a lot of crap to read here! LOL
PS. Have you ever seen any of the Tomie series?
I’ve seen the first Tomie movie a long time ago and plan on seeing the rest when I get the chance.
Do you rent these movies? Are they subtitled when you watch them? Its quite lucky for you if there is a store near there that you can rent these films.
Great blog! ^_^
I buy a lot of my movies through Ebay or watch online. 99% are subtitled but there’s a few that I’ve seen without any subtitles.
So desu ne…wakarimashita. ^_^
